Our librarians buy storybooks and textbooks at the Ghana International Book Fair each August. OCLF offers exciting outreach programs including literacy and ICT classes and dance/theatre opportunities. Greatest care is taken to maintain our existing nine libraries and support small-scale library initiatives.

OCLF Canada is run entirely by volunteers, board members included. OLF Ghana partners with six municipalities that are responsible for salaries and utilities We recognize the importance of sustainability. OLF board members are volunteers, too.

Here is how you can donate:

  1. Cheques made payable to Osu Children’s Library Fund can be mailed to 90 Albert St, Winnipeg, MB Canada R3B 1G2.
  2. Direct deposit* by e-transfer to oclfdonations@gmail.com
    * Please include your name and address in the message box. OCLF will send a tax receipt and an acknowledgement card later.
  3. Monthly or one time contributions can be made through CanadaHelps, a non-profit Canadian organization with a secure website. CanadaHelps will NOT reveal contact details unless this information is authorized. Tax receipts are issued by CanadaHelps.
  4. Donation of securities should be transferred to:

    The value on the tax receipt will be the closing market price on the day the securities are received by OCLF.
