Children like to see themselves in books, and they need books for their reading level. Since 2001, OCLF has published more than 55 titles. The majority of these are photo-illustrated depicting day-to-day life in Ghana. We have also partnered with award-winning African illustrators to create African-based stories.

“It is my wish that the voice of the storyteller will never die in Africa, that all the children in the world may experience the wonder of books, and that they will never lose the capacity to enlarge their earthly dwelling place with the magic of stories.”  Nelson Mandela
